Genesis 34 - FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE
Main Idea: Allow the injustices of this world to be punished God’s way.
INJUSTICES ARE NOT GOD’S PLAN, BUT OUR OWN
God is the Author of good, and has never decreed evil.
God has chosen to share His creation with semi-autonomous human beings, and He allows us to make our own choices.
No evil action will ever go unpunished.
THERE IS AN UNGODLY WAY TO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE
Godly justice comes from a place of love & respect.
Godly justice gives a proportional punishment.
Godly justice is others-centered.
TRUE JUSTICE COMES FROM GOD, NOT MAN
You have a responsibility to help bring justice for others.
God’s plan is for earthly justice to come from human government.
God’s plan is for spiritual justice to come from the church.
God will do what is right, in His time - so trust Him.
