1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 - How To Make Disciples

Main Idea: Every believer in Jesus should be a disciple who makes disciples.

HAVE A DISCIPLE-MAKING HEART

  • Boldly talk about Jesus and the Gospel, and His change in you.

  • Seek God’s approval (not people’s) for your words & actions.

  • Choose to reject the allure of pride, people-pleasing, and greed.

Have A Disciple-Making Head

  • Know and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which saves sinners.

  • Share how to obediently walk worthy of Christ’s kingdom.

Have Disciple-Making HANDS

  • Be gentle and patient with those who are trying to follow Jesus.

  • Share your life (meals, experiences, volunteering, trips, etc…) with those you’re discipling.

  • Be generous with your time, efforts, & finances in disciple-making.
